Me and Endometriosis Association Event at Euromaterna
The ‘Me and Endometriosis’ Association, in partnership with the EndoMedicare Academy Centre within Euromaterna Hospital, organized a special meeting dedicated to women affected by endometriosis — an event marked by empathy, openness, and solidarity. The primary goal was to provide patients with a safe space to share their experiences, discuss the challenges posed by the disease, and learn about the importance of accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition affecting millions of women worldwide, characterized by severe pelvic pain, painful menstruation, infertility, and other symptoms that can deeply impact quality of life. During the discussions, specialists emphasized that although there is no definitive cure, hormonal therapies, minimally invasive surgical interventions, and personalized care plans can significantly improve symptoms and help women better manage their condition.
A central theme of the event was the importance of community: mutual support and knowledge exchange were recognized as key drivers of hope and practical solutions. The active involvement of Clarisa Iordache, a dedicated advocate for women with endometriosis, served as an inspiring example of perseverance and solidarity in this ongoing fight.
Every story shared reinforced the importance of unity and collaboration in easing the journey of those living with endometriosis. The event clearly demonstrated that education, community support, and cooperation between doctors and patients are essential to the effective management of this complex disease.
