Advisory Board – Endometriosis
A correct diagnosis leads to correct therapeutic management.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of organizing and moderating the Endometriosis Advisory Board—an applied dialogue among specialists, centered on clinical realities and the challenges of daily practice.
Our discussions focused on:
- The importance of a thorough and accurate patient evaluation;
- Correlating imaging investigations with the clinical presentation;
- The nuances between therapeutic options and actual selection criteria;
- Current limitations and potential solutions in endometriosis management.
The results of the pre-meeting questionnaire highlighted, once again, how vital it is to standardize the diagnostic approach and to build therapeutic decisions on solid, multidisciplinary foundations.
Endometriosis is not merely a surgical or medical pathology. It is a condition that demands rigor, expertise, and a personalized strategy for every patient.
My thanks to all my colleagues for their involvement and for the high level of the discussions. It is only through such meetings that we can raise standards and turn excellence into routine.
